AUSTIN -- Emergency crews have been busy all night with water rescues. Austin-Travis County EMS says it had eight water rescue calls before 10 p.m. Several more came through the night.
Crews worked to rescue people trapped in a van with water rising near Highway 71 and Silvermine in Southwest Austin.
Paramedics are using a rescue boat and Star Flight helicopter to rescue a woman in labor on Spicewood Springs between two low water crossings. Read more here.
Around 11 p.m. crews were actively working a rescue on Falcon Pointe Boulevard near Kelly Lane. At 11:20 p.m. the two people in that situation were walked out by fire crews.
Another water rescue on Dorsett Road was caught on camera by a KVUE crew.
No injuries have been reported.
