AUSTIN -- Heavy rain falling on Central Texas has put several areas under a Flash Flood Warning or Watch.

A warning is in place for Mason County until 5:30 p.m. There is a Flash Flood Watch in place for areas west of Interstate 35 until 7 a.m. Saturday.

Remember: Turn around, don't drown!

So far Austin has received two to three inches of rain, according to the KVUE Storm Team.

The rain will continue into Saturday morning, but should clear up just in time for football. The desperately needed storms are also bringing cooler temperatures. The weekend will see lows in the upper 60s.

Two to four inches of rain were expected to fall until Saturday morning. Some areas could see five inches of rain.
