The Austin Fire Department is on the scene of a warehouse fire in North Austin on Interstate 35 near Sandpiper and Wren Avenues.

The fire broke out around 5:00 a.m. Friday at the AAA Limousine warehouse in the 11900 block of IH-35 North, on the southbound frontage road. No one was inside the building at the time of the fire and there are no injuries.

When firefighters arrived, flames had fully engulfed the entire building. At least 9 engines and 30 firefighters responded. It took them 40 to 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Fire investigators are on the scene and are working to determine the cause of the fire.

Firefighters then responded to a second fire -- this one at the Rundberg Square shopping center in Northeast Austin just east of I-35.
That fire broke out just before 6:15.
The fire was contained to the Total Beauty Mart, with light smoke damage to the neighboring stores.
AFD says it is treating this fire as possibly suspicious, saying it may have started outside the building and made its way inside.
