AUSTIN -- The Austin Fire Department evacuated hundreds of guests at the Sheraton Hotel Sunday night in downtown Austin.
Fire officials say guests reported seeing smoke just before 8 p.m. on the 8th, 9th, and 10th floors of the hotel located on East 11th Street near I-35.
Investigators believe a burnt out air conditioning unit caused the smoke.
No one was injured.
