FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas -- The Fayette County Sheriff's Office and area Crime Stoppers are working together to find those responsible for the destruction of several mailboxes and road signs.
Sheriff Keith Korenek says numerous road signs and mailboxes were damaged along FM 2238, FM 956, FM 1383 and FM 1965 sometime during the night between Dec. 8 and 9. Officials say it appears each sign and mailbox was run over by a vehicle.
