AUSTIN -- An electrical fire has forced an evacuation of the iconic UT Tower.
Austin fire officials say the fire broke out on the 8th floor of the tower located on the University of Texas campus.
Two fire units were still on scene at 10 a.m. Thursday as they removed smoke.
The tower was evacuated. Everyone will be let back in once units clear the scene.
There is no word yet on damages or injuries.
