Dripping Springs ISD experienced a power outage Monday morning. It began around 7 a.m. and affected Dripping Springs Elementary, Walnut Springs Elementary, Dripping Springs High School, and the administration building.
The power outage included phones and emails, but ISD officials stressed the students were fine.
School leaders monitored temperatures during the outage.
PEC identified the problem, and had power restored before noon.
