AUSTIN -- The Dell World 2013 Conference is underway at the Austin Convention Center.
It's company founder and CEO Michael Dell's first big appearance in Central Texas since he took his company back to the private sector. Dell says he's reenergized by the privatization and likens his company to the world's largest startup.
The crowd at the Dell World Conference heard from Elon Musk, the CEO of Pace Exploration Technologies and Tesla Motors on Thursday. He drove up to the podium in one of his electric cars.
The focus of the event, however, was on Michael Dell and what his company has in store now that it's gone private.
On KVUE at 5 and 6, we'll find out more from business men and women who came from all over the country to hear Dell speak, and why they say the company going private is a good thing for their businesses.
