AUSTIN -- Austin police discovered a decomposed body in North Austin Monday evening.
An Austin police spokesperson says the body was found around 7 p.m. in the 1800 block of Burbank Street, near Brentwood Elementary School. Police did not have any other information, other than the body was that of a male.
Austin police were investigating the scene, but had not yet ruled the death as suspicious.
Homicide detectives said the person appears to have died due to natural causes.
