CEDAR PARK -- There are new developments in the case of a toddler killed in her foster home. The father of that 11-month-old apparently warned Child Protective Services about the man accused of killing his daughter.
According to our partners are the Austin American-Statesman, Brian Hamilton warned care workers about 32-year-old Jacob Salas.
Salas has been charged with injury to a child and could soon be charged with capital murder. Police say Salas admitted to pinning Orien Hamilton's head to the floor with his knee earlier this month.
CPS says they took Hamilton's warning seriously, but they believed Orion's foster mother when she denied that Salas lived at the home.
Brian Hamilton says Salas was violent and posed a serious threat to the little girl.
