TRAVIS COUNTY -- The Texas Department of Public Safety will host a memorial ceremony honoring fallen DPS Trooper Carlos Ray Warren.
Warren was killed in the line of duty in Travis County in 1991 as he interrupted a kidnapping at Roadside Park.
Thursday's dedication formally commemorates the relocation of Warren's memorial on Highway 71. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on 71, east of Ross Road.
