DNA evidence leads to arrest in Austin sexual assault

AUSTIN -- DNA helped police make an arrest in a two-week-old sexual assault case.

According to court papers, 28-year-old Michael Broughton kidnapped a woman who was riding her bike near Huston-Tilloston University in East Austin. The victim told police Broughten choked her before forcing her into his truck and sexually assaulting her.

Broughton was arrested in Killeen. He faces two felony charges.

Police have also identified a second suspect.
