AUSTIN -- A DNA sample taken two years ago may have identified the man behind a brutal attack in Austin.
Police have charged 22-year-old Emmannuel Jaimes with aggravated sexual assault.
According to his arrest affidavit, in August 2010 he pulled the victim into a pickup truck at knifepoint at a convenience store near Manor and Springdale in Central East Austin.
A DNA sample taken from the woman matched Jaimes who was already in prison for another crime.
