HORSESHOE BAY, Texas -- A couple faces felony charges after a shooting incident that hurt their three-year-old boy.
Horseshoe Bay police say Toby and Dee Ann Patterson gave conflicting stories after the incident took place on Sept. 19. Investigators eventually discovered a handgun believed to be the weapon involved at a neighbor's house.
Doctors say the boy had to have a lung removed, but is going to be okay.
Toby Patterson is charged with the shooting. His wife is charged with tampering with evidence. Brian Evans, the couple's neighbor, is also charged with tampering with evidence.
