AUSTIN -- Rain is falling on Central Texas Wednesday morning, making for a soggy commute.

The rains are expected to taper off by the late morning. A slight chance of rain remains for Wednesday afternoon. It will be chilly with highs in the upper 50s. Overnight into Thursday we can expect clear skies with chilly temperatures.

Thursday will be a mix of sun and clouds. It will be warmer with the highs in the mid 70s. Lows will be in the mid 50s.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and a high temperature of 70 degrees. Lows Friday will reach 60 degrees.
