AUSTIN -- Austin's first Trail of Lights in three years drew in quite the crowd.
City officials said more than 400,000 people attended the free holiday event. Organizers estimate that 100, 000 people walked the trail on the first night alone.
The crowds created a bit of a parking problem since spaces at Zilker Park are limited. Organizers said they are now working on a better shuttle system.
The Trail of Lights wrapped up Sunday. It began a week before that after a two-year absence fueled by financial trouble.
