AUSTIN -- The plan to build an RV park for the homeless in Eastern Travis County took a big step forward Tuesday.

If they get final approval, the non-profit Mobile Loaves and Fishes would set up transitional housing in the area just off Hog Eye Road.

Some neighbors don't like the idea. People on both sides came out to city hall to weigh in before the vote.

Council members will have the final say.
