AUSTIN -- More than 200 runners at the Boston Marathon Monday were from the Austin area. At least one of them was injured.

Craig Potts of Cedar Park sent a message to friends, saying:

"Tell everyone I am ok. I got hit in back shoulder by debris from 1st explosion as I crossed the finish line. It nearly knocked me down. I was right there it was awful. I am ok though. Had to walk 4 miles to get back to hotel. Subways shut down."

KVUE News spoke to Potts Monday night. He said he is okay and headed back to Austin Tuesday.
