AUSTIN -- A mechanical issue with one of Capital Metro's MetroRail trains forced an evacuation of passengers and delayed the rail line.
The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in East Austin near the Dorris Miller Recreation Center.
Passengers were taken off the train and moved to buses. The train was moved off to a side track.
Another train began running the route and other trains were on a 15-minute delay. Things were back on schedule by 10:15 a.m.
