AUSTIN -- Once again this year Capital Metro will be offering shuttle service to and from the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

During the two weekends of ACL, Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13, Cap Metro will provide a free shuttle bus from Republic Square Park at 4th Street and Guadalupe (in downtown Austin) to Zilker Park. There is no parking near the ACL Festival.

The shuttle will start at 10 a.m. and the final bus return will take place at 11 p.m.

“Capital Metro and Austin City Limits are partnering again this year to help festival attendees make the most of their weekends, so they can spend time at the shows—not in stuck traffic or looking for parking,” Capital Metro President/CEO Linda S. Watson said. “We invite attendees to add Capital Metro to their festival plans and leave the driving to us.”

Bus routes 4, 21 and 22 will take festival goers to Republic Square Park where they can catch the shuttle. The MetroRail train will also be running during the festival. It drops off riders at 4th and Trinity in downtown Austin.
