The town square has reopened in Burnet after the Austin Bomb Squad cleared two packages left unattended at the Burnet County Courthouse.
County employees discovered the packages at 9:30 Thursday morning. Employees had reported seeing a man with the packages earlier in the morning.
The square was briefly evacuated, but the packages were found to contain only clothing. A 56-year-old man was questioned and released.
