AUSTIN -- Over the next few days you may notice increased police presence in and around campus buildings at The University of Texas at Austin.

The increased security stems from an anonymous, non-specific bomb threat the campus received Wednesday.

There is no information at this time that indicates this is a credible threat.

UT police are working with the FBI, Joint Terrorism Task Force, Department of Public Safety and Austin Police Department.

Classes went on as scheduled Wednesday and will continue on a normal schedule Thursday.

If you see anything unusual please report it to UTPD at 471-4441.

The campus remains open.
