AUSTIN -- A boil water notice has been lifted for four neighborhoods in the Hamilton Pool area.
According to Kristi Hester with Severn Trent Services, the neighborhoods affected included Rough Hollow, Rocky Creek, Sweetwater and Belvedere.
On Saturday Hester said the area lost water pressure, and there was a communication failure at an elevated storage tank. The water pressure has returned and residents have water again, but per state regulation a boil water alert notice was enacted.
On Monday officials said that water quality had been corrected, and no longer required boiling.
Hester said there were no open lines, contaminants or major risks in the area.
