PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- A boil water notice has been lifted for subdivisions of Pflugerville.
Due to chlorine levels below that allowed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the City of Pflugerville issued a boil water notice on Monday. The notice was in effect for the entire Springbrook subdivision.
The cause was a chlorine leak at a Manville well.
Pflugerville notified Manville of the issue and chlorine was added to the supply. Officials say Wednesday that chlorine levels are back to normal and water is safe to drink.
