Austin police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating in a creek off Riverside Drive at Newning Ave, just south of downtown.
Investigators say passersby spotted the body floating in the water before 1 p.m. and called 9-1-1.
Police say an autopsy will have to be performed to determine what caused the man’s death.
No other information was immediately released.
