The host of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," Ty Pennington. Go behind the scenes of the house being built in Bastrop by ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" with these photos. Crews were busy clearing land and working on the foundation Thursday morning, the first full day of the build. The home is for Mizzy Zdroj and her family. Zdroj is a volunteer firefighter for the Heart of the Pines volunteer fire department. While fighting the Labor Day wildfires, Zdroj lost her own home as well as her art studio.
