BASTROP COUNTY -- The director of the Bastrop County Animal Shelter was arrested in Bastrop Saturday morning.
Diane Mollaghan is charged with driving while intoxicated.
According to the Bastrop County Jail website, she was released from jail shortly after 2 p.m. on a $5,000 ound.
Earlier this month, Mollaghan took KVUE on a tour of the animal shelter, where she defended herself against accusations that the shelter doesn't meet standards.
Mollaghan has worked for the shelter since late September.
