As the drought worsens, two more Central Texas cities are putting tougher water restrictions in place.
Starting August 1, Cedar Park residents can only water their lawns with sprinklers once a week on their designated day.
Watering is only allowed before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

In Bastrop, the new rules are already in effect. Homeowners can water twice a week between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. and again from 8 p.m. to midnight.
