AUSTIN -- Austin ranked the second best city for finding employment in the current economy, according to a study by the human resources firm Adecco Staffing U.S.

The firm compiled a list of the 10 best cities for job seekers based on employment data from the Department of Labor and internal data about job growth and demand. The ranking equally weighed a number of factors, such as the diversity of industries in the city, the range in size of companies offering employment and the cost of living.

Bethesda, Md., with a population of about 60,000 and an unemployment rate of 5.2 percent, topped the list.
