AUSTIN -- An Austin man is in the hospital after bees stung him nearly 100 times.
He was working for a tree removal company outside a Central Austin home. The homeowner says she didn't know there was a hive, and witnesses say the crew didn't see it either. When the victim cut the first limb, the bees attacked. He managed to work his way down, but not before being stung.
He was treated at Seton Medical Center, but KVUE is told he is recovering at home.
