An Austin man is facing felony charges, accused of placing spyware on his estranged wife's computer and cell phone.
An arrest warrant is issued for 41-year-old Karl Dalley. He is charged with unlawful interception of electronic communication.
His arrest followed a lengthy investigation. Austin police obtained a subpoena from the maker of the online spyware and also seized information from Google and Yahoo after search warrants were issued.
Police say Dalley was involved in divorce proceedings with his wife when she noticed suspicious behavior and activity regarding her personal information.
