AUSTIN -- Austin home sales are up.
The latest numbers from the Austin Board of Realtors show that 1,581 single family homes sold last month. That is about 11 percent more than December 2010.
Those homes stayed on the market for an average of 89 days, which is nine days less than a year ago.
Price could be one reason why. The median price fell to just under $188,000. That's one percent lower than December 2010.
