AUSTIN -- Due to outpouring support from the Austin community, the Blood Center of Central Texas says it has enough blood at this time for victims of the West, Texas explosion.

The center said Friday that they are scheduling blood donors by appointment so they can establish a balanced blood supply. If you have O-Negative blood you are especially encouraged to call and schedule an appointment.

The center says more than 740 people donated blood Thursday and many businesses supported the effort.

To donate blood you must be at least 17 years old and weigh 115 pounds. For more information click here.
