AUSTIN -- Tuesday is a big day for one of Texas' biggest political figures. It's President Lyndon B. Johnson's birthday!
LBJ would have been 105. To celebrate, the LBJ Presidential Library is offering free admission and passing out birthday cake. The library also plans to hand out cupcakes on the University of Texas campus.
There will be a more somber ceremony at the LBJ Ranch near Johnson City, including a wreath laying and military honors.
Before becoming our country's 36th president, Johnson served six terms in the U.S. House and two in the Senate.
