AUSTIN -- Austin police have arrested a man in connection with an accident that damaged more than a dozen vehicles at a Hyundai auto dealership.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Hipolito Rebollar.

Just before 2 a.m. March 13, a driver believed to be Rebollar veered off the I-35 frontage road and hit a grassy curb where it hit a light pole outside South Point Hyundai. The impact tore the light pole from its concrete base. The car then smashed into a row of vehicles at the dealership.

Eighteen cars suffered damage. Nine were damaged severely.
