AUSTIN -- Austin Police are searching for two men in connection to a robbery at a South Austin McDonald's restaurant.
Officers say it happened just before 6 a.m. Sunday. The robbers allegedly walked into the restaurant on Slaughter Lane and Manchaca Road and threatened a worker. APD says one of the men had a handgun and demanded money.
Police say one shot was fired. The bullet did not hit anyone, but one person was assaulted. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene.
Police say there are security cameras in the restaurant. The video will be reviewed. Their investigation is still underway.
