AUSTIN -- Alcohol sales soared in Austin in November during the F1 weekend, according to the our content partners Austin-American Statesman.
During that weekend, the Circuit of the Americas made more revenue than any other venue in the state, with more than $2.8 million worth of beer, wine and mixed drinks sold.
The figures from the state comptroller's office show alcohol sales for November, adding in the tabs from bars, restaurants and hotels citywide totaled more than $48 million that's a 23 percent increase from November of 2011.
