Austin police plan to file more serious charges against a couple accused of forcing a 16-year-old girl in prostitution.

Quincy Gholar and Jennifer Russell are both charged with compelling prostitution, a second degree felony.

Police will file additional charges of human trafficking, a first degree felony, later this week.

Police arrested the pair Thursday night at the La Quinta Inn on East Oltorf near Interstate 35.

Investigators say they drove the girl -- an undocumented immigrant from Mexico -- to the motel to meet an undercover officer for sex.  Police say she advertised on the website backpage.com.

The teen is held at the Gardner Betts Juvenile Detention Center.

A judge will decide what happens to her next.

Police tell KVUE News they have not been allowed to interview the teen yet.
