KILLEEN, Texas -- The AWOL soldier accused of plotting an attack on Fort Hood has pleaded not guilty.
Naser Abdo was arrested earlier this year in Killeen. Authorities say they discovered bomb-making materials in his backpack. Abdo's trial is now scheduled to begin in late January 2012 in Waco.
He faces up to 10 years in prison on each of his three charges if convicted.
