AUSTIN -- Austin police are seaching for a man who robbed a Chase Bank Friday morning.

The robbery took place in the 9700 block of Great Hills Trail. Police say a man entered the bank, showed a gun and demanded cash from an employee.

The man took off with the money, and no injuries were reported. A woman on the scene told KVUE that her parents were inside the bank when the robbery occurred, and they say they saw the robber pull out a gun.

The man is described as thin and white, about six feet tall and in his 30s. He was wearing a dark long sleeved shirt, jeans and a cowboy hat.
