AUSTIN -- Police are searching for a woman they believe was assaulted by a man earlier this week.
Around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, witnesses saw a man drag a woman in a choke hold by her hair toward a blue car in a residential community on River Oaks Drive near the North I-35 service road.
Witnesses told officers that the man told drivers to keep going while the woman yelled, "He's going to kill me." In the area, officers found Coach shoes, an anklet and an empty pack of Newport cigarettes.
The man has been described as white and in his late 20s. He has a muscular build and shaved head. He was last seen wearing a white shirt.
The woman is said to be white and in her late 30s. She has blonde hair and weighs about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and tan shorts.
