AUSTIN -- A man is behind bars after a four-hour SWAT team standoff in Northwest Austin.

The incident happened at an apartment complex off Spicewood Springs and U.S. 183 Tuesday around 3 p.m.

Police say 40-year-old Neal Adam Klein was wanted for robbing a Planet K in North Austin on June 28. When officers arrived to serve him an arrest warrant, Klein refused to come out of his apartment.

The SWAT team was deployed, and the complex was put on lockdown. Klein's neighbors are in disbelief.

"I do think it's out of character for him. I think he must be really depressed at this point, because he's always seemed like a nice guy to me," Leeza Bearden said.
