AUSTIN -- Austin police are investigating a shooting incident after a man showed up at St. David's Hospital Tuesday night with a gunshot wound.
APD Watch commander said it appears that it was a drug deal that went bad.
An officer was dispatched to the hospital for investigation after APD received the call at 8:13 p.m.
APD said the shooting victim is conscious and alert. The man's name and his medical condition has not yet been released.
