AUSTIN -- The Austin School District has selected two national finalists to help turn around struggling Eastside Memorial High School.
Both Johns Hopkins University and American Institutes for Research will release details of their plans to the school community this Saturday at the school at 10 a.m.
The district wants to work with one of them to keep the struggling campus open. It already canceled plans with the IDEA charter school system.
Eastside Memorial has faced numerous problems. It closed once before when it didn't meet state standards, and it now faces closure again.
