AUSTIN -- It's decision time for music fans. Several big name acts are bringing big decisions for people planning to go to the 2013 Austin City Limits Music Festival. The official schedule was announced Thursday morning.
The first evening of the festival Depeche Mode, Queens of the Stone Age, and Muse play at about the same time.
"There are always conflicts. It's so frustrating," said music fan David Walter.
On the second evening, Kings of Leon and Depeche Mode play at about the same time.
"Sometimes you get pulled in two directions, and that's tricky, but you have to look deep inside yourself and decide what's right for that moment," said music fan Jonny Dub.
With 140 musical acts, there's something for everyone, but sometimes they play at the same time.
"I sort of take the attitude that whatever I see, it's all gravy because at least I'm not sitting at home," said KUTX Program Director Matt Reilly.
This is the first year ACL will happen over two weekends with almost identical line-ups, so if you miss bands like Wilco or Jimmy Eat World, you'll have a second chance.
This year's headliner is Lionel Richie. Each weekend will wrap up with music from Richie, Atoms for Peace, and Phoenix on Sunday, October 6 and 13.
ACL will take place Oct. 4-6 and 11-13.
