AUSTIN -- Police ended their Labor Day weekend 'No Refusal' initiative Tuesday morning.
Since Friday officers have arrested 106 people accused of drunk driving.
The special enforcement period ended at 5 a.m. During the initiative, police could get a warrant to take a suspected drunk driver's blood if he or she refused to take a breath test.
Of this weekend's arrest totals, nearly 60 percent of the drivers had blood drawn.
There were 27 arrests Monday night into Tuesday morning. Twelve of those involved breath tests. Fifteen of those drivers had their blood drawn.
