Leslie Cochran -- Austin's famous thong-wearing transient -- continues his recovery from a head injury.
He was taken to Brackenridge Hospital October 3. It's believed he fell which caused the brain injury and bleeding inside his head.
Doctors are not sure how much he remembers about what happened or how reliable his memory would be right now.
They say at this point in his recovery, he is doing well.
"I don't know if he will be the same person he was before or not. It's a little too early to say that but he is making a good recovery. He's not needing life support or anything like that," said Mary Gonzales, M.D., Central TX Rehab Hospital.
It takes about six months to a year to determine if someone will fully recover from this type of head injury.
