AUSTIN - A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck shut down Interstate 35 at East Ben White Boulevard Sunday afternoon.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded to the area at 3 p.m.
Initially, EMS said they believed 14 people were hurt from the accident and at least three of the victims were children.
However, after evaluating everyone, EMS said they only transported three adults to South Austin Medical Center. All of them are expected to be okay.
Traffic was delayed as officials investigated the crash.
Just after 4:30 p.m., the City of Austin Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management tweeted the flyovers at Ben White Boulevard were reopened.
