AUSTIN -- Three Austin City Council members will be working this weekend to help close a gap in services for the homeless.
Housing for women and children is in especially short supply after the city's Prop. 15 which would have paid for shelters was the only one to fail in the November election.
Now homeless advocates say there just aren't enough beds to go around.
Council members Spellman, Riley and Cole are working on a resolution to fund more housing.
They announce the details Saturday morning.
