AUSTIN -- Three burglary suspects have been arrested by police after a surveillance operation.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, the Austin Police Department's Region III Metro Tactical and Air Support Units were watching Anthony, Machado, 34, Martha Machado, 38, and Terry Robinson, 42, when they broke into businesses on Pond Springs Road.

All three were arrested and charged with two charges of burglary of a non-residence.

Anthony Machado and Terry Robinson are suspected in 40 other burglaries since November of last year. In each incident the men would break the glass doors of a business to get inside.

"There seemed to be a common MO. The suspects were taking a rock, throwing it through the front door of businesses, then they go in try to steal, mainly cash," said APD Detective Jason Jewett.

The three suspects are being held in the Williamson County Jail. More charges are pending.

If you have any information on these crimes or suspects, you are asked to call APD at (512) 974-5856.
